Chris was inspired to set up The Write Time as he strongly believes that we should be doing more to keep young people in mainstream education and to get the best education possible in order to give them the best opportunities in life. At the "heart" of the The Write Time is the Independent Write Time School which provides a quality alternative to mainstream school for those where mainstream education is not working.
Chris's passion and drive is to successfully work with young people that are marginalised by society and promote social inclusion. He specialises in "turning around" those hardest to reach and will work alongside their families and other providers to get the best possible outcomes.
Since 1999 Chris has held pivotal roles in several well known charities including Head of Operations (South Region) for the Prince's Trust and Operations Manager for Lifeline Projects. He has a proven track record of working with the hardest to reach client groups. He leaves behind a strong legacy of successful youth programmes. Chris is well known for his strong leadership, his ability to support, develop and inspire others.
Chris is well travelled having worked at Raleigh International which took him to Belize, Chile and Borneo. During his time at Raleigh he helped shape the Youth Development Programme in London which enabled at risk young people to experience international ventures.
Chris can be described as an approachable, proactive, lively character with a sense of humour. Chris has recently achieved a PGDip in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School, City University London. Chris holds his level 3 in Safeguarding and is fully qualified in Reality Therapy/Choice Therapy.
