WHAT WE DO
MENTORING IN SCHOOLS
Through our Mentoring Programme in schools where young people have been identified as at risk of becoming NEET, we aim to partner with the schools to keep the young people engaged in education through one to one support sessions and group work.
For those where mainstream education is not working, The Write Time runs a small independent school in Croydon. We take pride in engaging the hardest to reach students in education and offer a package of pastoral care, personal development and quality teaching.
BAME WOMEN'S PROJECT
Using Lottery funding, we aim to raise aspirations and build better opportunities. This project supports the long term unemployed and economically inactive Black, Asian Ethnic Minority Women from South London.
Keeping our organisation’s mission in mind, we strive to find new strategies to help people.
We are proud to launch our new 14 week traineeship programme for 16 to 24 year olds. The programme involves gaining an industry recognised qualification and a 4-week work placement.
At The Write Time, we run a variety of team building and group workshops either as part of our programmes or as a bespoke event. We strongly believe that these activities are an effective way of strengthening the mindset of working as a team and this is part of our staff annual training.
